Rome, Sept. 16 (LaPresse) – On October 21, the first chapter of the 'Back to the Future' trilogy returns to cinemas in a restored 4K version, to celebrate with fans the 'Back to the Future Day,' marking the 40th anniversary of the saga. Since its debut in 1985, 'Back to the Future' has grossed nearly 400 million dollars worldwide. Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and their DeLorean will return to the big screen for an event distributed by Nexo Studios, offering all viewers the chance to relive—or discover for the first time—the emotions of the film in theaters. October 21 is the date when the protagonist Marty travels through time in the trilogy’s second chapter and has been officially recognized since 2015 as the day of international celebrations dedicated to the film. For the occasion, Nexo Studios invites all viewers to come to the theaters dressed in outfits inspired by the movie. The goal? To gather the largest group of fans in front of Italian screens, capture the moment with a photo to post using the hashtag #RitornoAlFuturoDay40, and share the passion for the saga. The best cosplays will be featured on Nexo Studios’ social channels.
