Television: Emmy Awards, triumph for series “The Studio”, “Adolescence” and “The Pitt”

Milan, 15 September (LaPresse) – “The Studio” won the award for best comedy series at the Emmy Awards and broke the record for 13 statuettes in one season with comedy series, while “Adolescence” and “The Pitt” won the other major awards of the evening. ‘I'm genuinely embarrassed by how happy this makes me,’ said series co-creator Seth Rogen with his trademark laugh, surrounded by the cast and crew of the hit Apple TV+ series. All four Emmys awarded during Sunday night's CBS broadcast from the Peackock Theatre in Los Angeles went to Rogen. In addition to the award for comedy series, he also won for best directing with “The Studio” co-creator and longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg, and for best writing with Goldberg and others.
