Rome, 5 August (LaPresse) – Francis Ford Coppola has been admitted to the Policlinico Romano hospital in Tor Vergata for scheduled heart surgery. According to LaPresse, the 86-year-old Italian-American director suffered a slight cardiac arrhythmia shortly after arriving at the hospital in the early afternoon today and was placed under observation prior to surgery. The author of such masterpieces as “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now” was in Portland on Sunday promoting his latest film, “Megalopolis”.
