New York (New York, USA), June 12 (LaPresse/AP) – The judge in the case involving former film mogul Harvey Weinstein declared the rape trial, one of the three charges, null and void after the jury foreperson stated they had no intention of deliberating, claiming to have been bullied by another juror. The decision came the day after the partial verdict issued by the jury in deliberation. On the previous day, the jurors had found Weinstein guilty of sexual assault, one of the key charges in the new trial for sexual crimes, but they could not reach a verdict on the 2013 case involving a woman who claimed to have had a consensual relationship with the Oscar-winning producer.
