Rome, 7 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Actually we were supposed to do 5 episodes with the break on Holy Saturday, but in the evening on Rai1 it's not the right time for variety shows. And since the programme isn't doing very well, I thought: there's no way I'm going to stop for a week’. So Carlo Conti announced to LaPresse the decision to bring forward the end of the programme ‘Ne vedremo delle belle’. ‘They had planned to stop after the fourth episode and finish on Saturday, since it is an experimental programme – Conti continued – so rather than resuming it, it's better to avoid it. Of course if you have a programme that gets you 25-30% you can also stop for a week, but since ‘Ne vedremo delle belle’ hasn't taken off I'd rather finish earlier. Four episodes have been broadcast without the fifth one that was on hold from the beginning. Am I satisfied? When I experiment I'm always happy, also because if I don't experiment, or Antonella Clerici, Carlucci, Gerry Scotti, Bonolis or Amadeus, who will experiment? Experimenting doesn't change our life. In ‘Ne vedremo delle belle’ the fundamental aspect that was supposed to be the spice between the protagonists was missing, that spice wasn't there: their desire to put on a show overcame that of bickering’.
