Turin, Apr. 5 (LaPresse) – Mourning in the world of television and cinema. Antonello Fassari, Roman actor known to the general public for his role as the innkeeper Cesare in the series ‘I Cesaroni’, has died at the age of 72. Having graduated from the ‘Silvio D'Amico’ Academy in 1975, during his career Fassari – who had been ill for some time – combined his theatrical activity with television and radio, taking part in programmes such as Serena Dandini's ‘Avanzi’ and miniseries such as ‘Anni “50” and “Al di là delle frontiere”, as well as “I ragazzi della 3/a C”. On a film level, he played Ciro Buffoni in the film ‘Romanzo criminale’ and was part of the cast of ‘Suburra’ (2005) and ‘Selvaggi’ (1995). His last appearance was in 2024 in Michela Giroud's film ‘Flaminia’.
