Milan, 30 Mar. (LaPresse) – Actor Richard Chamberlain has died at the age of 90. He became famous in Italy thanks to the TV series The Thorn Birds in the 80s. Chamberlain's death was confirmed to Variety by his family. The actor died on Saturday in Waimanalo, Hawaii, from complications following a stroke. ‘Our beloved Richard is now with the angels,’ Martin Rabbett, Chamberlain's longtime partner, said in a statement. ‘He is free and soaring to our loved ones before us. How lucky we were to have known such an extraordinary and loving soul. Love never dies. And our love is under his wings lifting him to his next great adventure,’ he added.
