Rome, Jan. 22 (LaPresse) – Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti will join Carlo Conti as co-hosts on the opening night, Tuesday, February 11, of the Festival of Italian Song in Sanremo. The announcement was made live by the artistic director himself during Clerici's show E’ sempre Mezzogiorno, with a "delighted" Scotti joining via video link.
Thus, the "two great friends" Conti had been trying to involve to complete the co-hosting lineup (announced last week) for the festival have been revealed. The lineup includes Bianca Balti, Geppi Cucciari, Katia Follesa, Nino Frassica, Elettra Lamborghini, Miriam Leone, Mahmood, Cristiano Malgioglio, Alessia Marcuzzi, and Alessandro Cattelan.
Here is the hosting schedule:
First Night: Carlo Conti with Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti.
Second Night: Bianca Balti, Nino Frassica, and Cristiano Malgioglio.
Third Night: Katia Follesa, Elettra Lamborghini, and Miriam Leone.
Fourth Night: Geppi Cucciari and Mahmood.
Final Night: Carlo Conti and Alessandro Cattelan, joined by Alessia Marcuzzi.
