Dfp, Giorgetti: ‘Let’s draw up realistic GDP forecasts’

Rome, 30 April (LaPresse) – “We must draw up forecasts that are realistic. What we have written regarding GDP is not an inflated figure.” This was stated by the Minister for the Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies at the conclusion of the debate on the Draft Budgetary Plan. The minister began by pointing out that “the country has one of the highest levels of public debt in Europe; and this is the starting point: we cannot ignore reality.”
