Rome, Dec. 3 (LaPresse) – "We are at the heart of the battle. Today, the European Commissioner for Industry, Sejourne, from whom I have received full assurances of the will to protect domestic production, will present the European strategy on critical raw materials to reduce Europe’s strategic dependence. And as for steel products, at our prompting, the quotas will be halved and tariffs on Chinese steel products will be doubled." This is what the Minister for Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, said in a remote address to the Confimi Industria Assembly. "I have asked," the minister added, "that this announcement become reality as soon as possible."
