Rome, Nov. 27 (LaPresse) – 120 million euros are needed for local public transport: these are the resources on which the actual provision of services to citizens in most Italian regions will depend next year. For this reason, the Conference of Regions, during today's meeting of the Unified Conference, unanimously requested the government's commitment to accept an amendment to the Budget Bill that would supplement the funding planned for 2026 with an additional €120 million, in line with what has already been done in the 2025 budget law. Alternatively, in order to bring the financial allocation back to the previous year's level, the regions have asked for at least a minimum additional amount of €70 million to be guaranteed.
