Milan, August 9 (LaPresse) – FS Treni Turistici Italiani (part of the FS Italiane Group) is expanding its Espresso train offerings with a direct connection from Rome to Munich for the 2025 Oktoberfest. The “Espresso Monaco” overnight train departs from Rome Termini and offers a comfortable journey to the German city. According to FS, the train will run on Friday, September 26, and Friday, October 3, leaving Rome Termini at 7:57 PM, with return trips from Munich on Sunday, September 28, and October 5, at 3:30 PM. The train will stop in Verona in the morning and pass through several towns including Trento, Bolzano, Bressanone, Fortezza, Vipiteno, Colle Isarco, Brenner, Innsbruck, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, before arriving in Munich. The “Espresso Monaco” offers a comfortable journey with reservable couchettes for exclusive use, single or double sleeping cars, and compartment coaches.
