Washington, July 23 (LaPresse) – “I will only lower tariffs if a country agrees to open up its market. Otherwise, tariffs will be much higher!” wrote U.S. President Donald Trump on ‘Truth’.
“Japanese markets are now open (for the first time ever!). U.S. businesses are going to boom!” Trump added.
In another brief post, he emphasized: “I will always be willing to drop tariffs if I can convince major countries to open their markets to the U.S. Another great power of tariffs. Without them, it would be impossible to get countries to open up!!! Always zero tariffs for America!”
