Milan, 12 July (LaPresse) – The Lazio Regional Administrative Court has partially upheld the appeal filed by Unicredit regarding the Golden Power exercised by the executive branch in relation to the takeover bid launched by Gae Aulenti on Banco Bpm. Specifically, the Regional Administrative Court upheld the appeal regarding the loan-to-deposit ratio, with the requirement ‘not to reduce the loan-to-deposit ratio applied by Banco BPM and UniCredit in Italy for a period of five years, with the aim of increasing lending to households and SMEs in Italy,’ and the level of the project finance portfolio. No findings were made regarding the government's requirements concerning the maintenance of Unicredit's financial activities in the Russian Federation and the prospects for Banco BPM's stake in Anima.
