Milan, Jun. 30 (LaPresse) – As of July 1, electricity and gas sellers will be obliged to issue bills in a new, clearer and more understandable format, with the same frontispiece, containing the main general information, and two boxes: the ‘Energy Box’ showing quantity x price, and the ‘Offer Box’ reminding of the contractual conditions signed by the customer. This was announced by Arera, explaining that the novelty aims to improve the comprehensibility of bills for households (excluding customers in Majority Protection), condominiums, small and medium enterprises and BT other uses (such as boxes, cellars and warehouses). The billing reform is the result of a lengthy consultation process with associations, businesses, consumers and other stakeholders and required major changes in the way sellers bill. With the introduction of the new format in the coming days, an information campaign will be launched on radio, television and ARERA's social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, X) explaining the benefits.
