Rome, 13 June (LaPresse) – Franzo Grande Stevens, long-time collaborator of Gianni Agnelli and honorary president of Juventus, has died at the age of 96. Sources close to the family confirmed the news, explaining that the date of the funeral has not yet been set. Born in Naples in September 1928, he graduated in law from Federico II University and then moved to Turin, where he worked as a lawyer and became one of Agnelli's closest collaborators, earning the nickname “Avvocato dell'Avvocato” (the lawyer's lawyer) and following him in many of his major financial transactions until his succession by John Elkann. He was vice-president of Fiat and president of Juventus, Toro Assicurazioni, Ciga Hotels, Cassa Nazionale Forense and Compagnia di Sanpaolo.
