Rome, 23 May (LaPresse) – "Unicredit confirms that, on 21 May 2025, Consob notified the suspension for 30 days of the offer period pursuant to Article 102, paragraph 6, letter B of the TUF. The deadline for accepting the offer will therefore be 23 July 2025." This is stated in a note from Unicredit regarding the public exchange offer promoted on Banco BPM. ‘This suspension,’ the statement continues, ‘is intended to allow sufficient time to provide Unicredit and BPM investors with clear and adequate information to enable them to evaluate the offer in an informed manner, taking into account the exercise of the “golden power” and the related requirements set out in the decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of 18 April.’
