Milan, 12 May (LaPresse) – US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has stated that he plans to meet with Chinese officials again in the coming weeks to continue trade negotiations. ‘I imagine that we will meet again in the coming weeks to start working on a more comprehensive agreement,’ Bessent explained in an interview with CNBC. “What we have with the Chinese is a mechanism to avoid upward pressure on tariffs,” Bessent added.
