Milan, 14 Apr. (LaPresse) – The cost of Easter eggs has risen by 20% compared to 2024, while that of chocolate eggs has risen by 5.4%, but with peaks of 30%. This is what emerged from a survey by Altroconsumo, which recorded the prices of these sweets in 30 shops, 10 online and 20 physical, between Milan and Rome. Of the three types of colomba on sale, classic, special (e.g. with cream) and artisan, the classic has recorded the greatest increase (+20%), going from 9.98 to 11.96 euros per kilo. These are average prices, the survey shows a really wide range: the price of a classic colomba can vary from 3.99 euros per kilo to 31.90 euros.
