Rome, Dec. 3 (LaPresse) – Zerocalcare, in a post on Instagram, announced that he will not be present at the upcoming edition of ‘Più libri più liberi’, which will host the publishing house Passaggio nel bosco, accused of publishing neo-fascist-leaning texts. “Hi, unfortunately I won’t be at the Roman fair Più libri Più Liberi,” the cartoonist writes. “Unfortunately everyone has their boundaries, this is mine. When I set it fifteen years ago, it seemed very easy to apply. Today it’s a sort of minefield. I think this forces us to reflect together, more, and more effectively. People I care about have made different choices; I’m sure they’ll make their voices heard and I’m rooting for them. I’m really sorry for those who were coming specifically; we’ll try to find another occasion for anyone who wanted a little drawing on the new book.”
