Rome, May 6 (LaPresse) – Riccardo Chailly will remain music director of La Scala until 2026, one year beyond his originally scheduled term. The confirmation came directly from Chailly during the press conference presenting the Kurt Weill triptych Die sieben Todsünden / Mahagonny Songspiel / The Song of Happy End, which he will conduct starting May 14.
